How long does custom jewelry packaging take?

Custom jewelry packaging takes about 4 to 5½ months from start to delivery. Material samples take 3–4 weeks, then production samples take 3–4 weeks, then full order production takes 3–4 months. If you need boxes for the holidays, start by [month]. If you need packaging sooner, stock SmartPro packaging is available.

How do I buy custom jewelry packaging?

Buying custom jewelry packaging happens in four steps:

Determine the details: box size, outside materials, inside materials, where the logo is printed, and the print color.
Approve material samples (3–4 weeks): we send you the actual materials to review.
Approve production samples (3–4 weeks): you see finished sample boxes before the full run.
Order production (3–4 months): your full order is made and shipped.

How much do custom jewelry boxes cost?

The cost of custom jewelry boxes depends on size, materials, printing and quantity. "Most jewelers spend $7.00 - $9.00 per box at a minimum order of 1152 pieces for ring box size. Text 919-810-1606 for a quote based on your situation.

What is the minimum order for custom jewelry packaging?

Custom would be 1152 for ring boxes. We have some semi-custom ring boxes we can order in as few as 576 pieces. SmartPro custom packaging starts at 1152 pieces per ring style.

What jewelry displays should I buy?

The right jewelry displays depend on the size of your showcases and what you sell most. Start by measuring your showcases. Then choose risers and platforms that fill the case at different heights, and add specialized displays for rings, bracelets and loose gems. SmartPro displays are designed to fit standard showcases and to help sell more of each category. Will SmartPro risers fit in my showcases?

Yes. SmartPro corner risers come in three widths, 22.5 inches, 16.5 inches and 11.5 inches, so they fit most jewelry showcases. What do you mean by the jewelry "reveal"?

The reveal is the moment the gift recipient opens the jewelry box. It's defined by what they feel as they slowly pull the top open: anticipation, wonderment and curiosity. Even the amount of resistance in the lid is part of it. A great reveal turns packaging into part of the gift and makes your store memorable.

What do you mean by jewelry gift "transport"?

Transport is how the jewelry travels from your store to the recipient, usually the bag, pouch or outer packaging the customer carries out. It's the first thing people see before the reveal, so it should match the quality of the jewelry and your brand. SmartPro offers a telescoping outer packer when the 'BEST' option is selected.
